Unakite stones are associated with the Heart Chakra and it is a powerful stone to aid in motivation, letting go of the past to bring out a "Seize the day" mental state of the bearer. It is a stone which grounds it's bearer to the present and is often thought of comically as a "kick in the backside" stone for motivation. It was found and named after the Unaka Mountains in North Carolina
