These are three freshly mined unique Afghan Malachite Raw Specimens

Malachite is a vibrant green mineral composed primarily of copper carbonate hydroxide. It forms in the Earth's crust, often in association with copper deposits, and has a striking banded appearance that varies from light to dark green. Raw malachite can be found in rough, unpolished forms, where it retains a natural texture that may include nodules, fractures, or uneven surfaces. It is prized for its intense green color and striking patterns, making it a popular stone in jewelry, carvings, and as an ornamental stone.

Historical Significance
Throughout history, malachite has held great cultural and economic value across many ancient civilizations. It was one of the first minerals to be used for both ornamental and practical purposes, dating back to ancient Egypt.

Malachite was prized by the ancient Egyptians, who used it as a pigment for cosmetics, especially green eye makeup. The famous Queen Cleopatra is known to have had a large malachite mine in her possession.

The Egyptians also used malachite in jewelry, and it was believed to have protective properties. Amulets and talismans crafted from malachite were thought to ward off evil spirits and dangers.

Why and What are Raw Crystals?
These are all Authentic Raw Stone Crystals straight from the mine, they are no different than their polished cousins and are exactly the same as Tumble stones and Palm Stones, Polished Raw Points, Towers and Clusters however here they are in their raw state. They are also much more affordable and a great way to start out in the world of Crystals.

You choose Crystal type and by weight (8 or 16oz) and can also specify in a message after checkout if you would like smaller or larger pieces. They are perfect for a beginner Crystal Collectors and for Arts and Crafts. The larger pieces can make excellent home decor and holiday decorations.

Some are not recommended for Fish Tank Display, and it is up to you to know which is which. Harder, Quartz Silicon Dioxide type rocks are safer for Fish Tanks, .... some crystals react differently with prolonged exposure to water.
